This memorial project is situated on axis with the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials, along the tidal basin. It is a series of canted walls that  start at ground level and culminate at the axis. Engraved is MLK’s “I have a dream” speech.
The landscape forms a valley on which arbitrary field stones lead up to  the axis, some of which trace the MLK timeline.
